Meet Kim

Hey Kim! What’s your role at Punch?
M: Midweight Designer

What did you want to be when you grew up?
M: Scientist – I had a big thing for science.

That would have been a very different career path. What are you responsible for as a Midweight Designer?
M: My main role is leading, designing and developing digital content for websites, social media, and other platforms. I also bring fresh ideas and approaches to projects whilst maintaining a high visual standard.

What do you love about your job at Punch?
M: As a versatile designer, I love to integrate my personality and knowledge. It’s also fun to juggle between the variety of client projects whether it’s branding, web design, animation, and more.

What’s the thing you’re known for at the agency?
M: Making every project pretty! I enjoy creating custom illustrations and crafting fun digital designs.

Your illustrations are beautiful! What would you say has been your favourite Punch project to work on?
M: Hard to pick as there’s been so many I’ve enjoyed creating! A personal favourite is the branding and animation for the 2023 SHG “Soak Up Summer” summer campaign.

That campaign was great. Where’s your favourite place to be?
M: Anywhere that my cats are (Luna, Nika, Fifa, and Muning).

On the topic of animals, which animal would you be?
M: I’d be a fox because they’re clever, adaptable, and resilient!

What’s your lifestyle like outside of work?
M: I’m passionate about sustainability in design practice & life – I’m all about slow living. I relax by crafting papercut art, or going to a beach or jungle, and I love to get crafty and paint. You can find me cooking, dancing, meditating, or petting animals.

Do you have a saying you love to live by?:
M: “Run your own race.” It’s about living and pursuing your life at your own terms without opinions of others.
