Meet Charlotte

Hey Charlotte, what’s your job role?
C: Head of Operations

What did you want to be when you grew up?
C: I had lots of career ideas when I was younger. But, the main thing I wanted to do was work in airport customs catching people trying to smuggle something dodgy in!

Ooh, very exciting! What does being Head of Operations entail?
C: I’m responsible for driving agency profitability and efficiency through developing and refining processes. Basically, I manage all the ways that Punch works – and then make them better!

Very important, then. What do you love about your job?
C: I love how everything is always thought out, and there’s always a strategy behind a campaign. Even creative projects need structure behind them to work at their best, which is something that can often be missed.

Plus, the collaborative nature of the industry makes it great to work with lots of different people that you wouldn’t find elsewhere.

What would you say you’re best known for?
C: A passion for process. Process is a part of every touch point at Punch, and it’s so important for success. I love spreadsheets, project planning, and scoping (it’s fun, I promise!)

My number one phrase is: “nobody’s going to die”, because in the grand scheme of things, if something goes wrong it’s not the end of the world! We can fix it.

In your time at Punch, what’s been your favourite project to work on?
C: We all make up Punch, but Punch is also our client! I loved the update and rollout of our production, timesheet, and project reporting capabilities, with our new software Float.

Where’s your favourite place in the entire world?
C: A chilled beach club with a very pale, chilled rose and a good book

Sounds like bliss to me! If you were going to be an animal, what would you be?
C: I’d be a British Blue cat because I’m quite chilled, and down to earth, and I also have blue eyes.

That makes sense, you’d be a great cat. Other than chilled, what would you say your lifestyle is like?
C: I have a new found love for yoga and gardening – the ultimate zen vibes. You’ll also find me travelling wherever I can, trying every possible new food spot that I can!

Amazing. Do you have a saying you love to live by?
C: My number one phrase is: “nobody’s going to die”, because in the grand scheme of things, if something goes wrong it’s not the end of the world! We can fix it.

I also love the saying: “nothing changes if nothing changes.”
