Founded back in 1985, Whitby Seafoods is the UK’s fastest growing seafood brand.
The company set out on a mission to bring Britain’s most loved seafood back to dinner tables around the UK and now, 34 years later, have a full range of delicious seafood including gluten-free products. In order to create spontaneous awareness for Whitby Seafoods, a passionate food brand with Yorkshire spirit, it was important that we proposed branding and collateral which was in line with their current brand guidelines.
The objective of our first campaign, ‘What is Scampi’ was to build awareness around what actually goes into seafood, as well as debunk some common myths associated with scampi. To achieve this, we proposed an integrated marketing campaign which included a range of digital activities such as PR, organic and paid social. The campaign aimed to reach new and repeat customers to the brand, as well as reaching those in the supermarket industry. In order to give the campaign its own identity, we designed a dedicated landing page to house all content.
