Sorry, if you came here expecting some solid information about design agency costs then you have come to the wrong place!
If you would like a design project costing the give us a call, this post was concerned with the highly serious matter of eye-wateringly (yes, that’s a word) expensive branding projects…and some surprisingly cheap ones too.
The common theme to the work in this blog is that none of it was done by this design agency, so feel free to laugh, cry and criticise all you like.
To be fair of course, we dont know the exact details of each design project, or how far reaching they were. For example, we guess Nike was just the brand logo, whereas some others will have been a full suite of materials to cover everything that organisation had a need for.

British Petrol (BP) logo price tag: $211,000,000

Coca-Cola logo price tag: $0 (done in 1885 by their bookkeeper)

London 2012 Olympics logo price tag: $625,000 (by Wolff Ollins in 2007)

Pepsi logo price tag: $1,000,000

Google logo price tag: $0 (by Sergey Brin, one of Google's founders)

Nike logo price tag: $35 (Carolyn Davidson was later given $600,000 shares)

Twitter logo price tag: $15 (by Simon Oxley in 2009)
